No More Fleetwood Travel Trailers
Fleetwood travel trailers have officially become limited edition RVs.
On March 9, 2009 Fleetwood stopped producing new travel trailers.
Here's the scoop...
From the Fleetwood website:
Thank you for your interest in Fleetwood Travel Trailers. On March 9, 2009, Fleetwood made the decision to exit the travel trailer business.
While we will no longer produce new travel trailer products, several Fleetwood dealers still have a variety of our travel trailers and fifth wheels available for purchase.
Please feel free to use this website to research our entire product line and to locate a Fleetwood dealer near you."
Bought a 2005 385FQKS new and I have horrible delimitation issues. DO NOT BUY ANY FLEETWOOD PRODUCT NEW or USED. Over 35% of the exterior is delaminating. Dealers and factory passed the buck until I gave up and it passed the warranty period
Rod, Here is the MVP website:
http://www.mvpwarranty.com/
As an independent aftermarket warranty program you should be able to have work done at any reputable RV dealership. Of course that is assuming MVP is a reputable warranty program. Be sure to have your coverage verified before you have any work done to make sure they will pay as you expect.
My wife and I own a 1999 avion savanna .
We bought the MVP package with it.
Now that Dan Gamel and Fleetwood are out of buisness is there anywhere in northern calif. that will honer the MVP warrenty?
Not surprising! I bought a new Prowler 5 years ago
and it was the biggest pile of junk. Spent 2 years camping one weekend and taking it back to the dealer the next for warranty work. Lost over 10k when I sold after the warranty was up but was never happier to see it gone!
Don, not to worry all RV manufacturers use the same brands of appliances, plumbing fixtures, and mechanical items. You can go to any RV dealer and get anything you need.
WE JUST PURCHASED A PIONEER 2006 19 FT TRAVEL TRAILER AND LOVE IT , I HOPE WE CAN STILL GET THINGS THAT WE NEED FOR OUR TRAILER ..
WE HAVE NEVER OWNED A CAMPER AND ARE JUST EXPERIENCING THE GOOD TIMES
MY HUSBAND HAS A LOT TO LEARN ABOUT PULLING THIS THING
Wow, that's a surprise. That will take such long time brands like Prowler, Wilderness, and Terry off the market. I wonder how many other brand names will fall to the recession. The Great Depression took out over 400 brand names leaving Airstream as the only surviver.
