Reasons You Need To Make A Habit Of Using RV Checklists

In many ways, your RV can be compared to a big commercial airliner.  It's big, takes lots of space to turn around, and mistakes are generally costly.

Day-to-day operations in the airline business amounts to one checklist after another.  Nothing is left to memory because anything forgotten could put the whole airplane in jeopardy.

Checklists will keep you relaxed and able to concentrate on the task at hand when driving  your RV safely, too.  You won't have to wonder, "Did I lower the TV antenna?"  If you went through the pre-departure checklist first, then you would know that the antenna has, in fact, been properly stowed.

You can make use of multiple checklists designed to cover all aspects of RVing.  Everything from a kitchen supply checklist to a maintenance schedule checklist can help keep you organized and efficient.  After all, you don't want to be the one who has to tell the family you forgot to pack toilet paper!

Hopefully when you make your RV departure checklist, it will be thought out a bit better than the one in this video.
