This is the first time that Go RVing (one of the largest representatives of the RV industry) has chosen to air commercials during the Superbowl.Go RVing spent $16 million on their 2008 media plan which kicks off during the Super Bowl.
The commercial for Go RVing will air during the final half-hour of the Super Bowl XLII Pregame show.
And think about it... if the RV industry is advertising during the Super Bowl (where the ads are among the most expensive), they must believe that they're speaking to their target audience. So that just goes to show you that RVing is not "just for old people" anymore!
Other "Big Buys" For Go RVing
Another Go RVing ad will air during the 50th running of the Daytona 500 on FOX, February 17.
Go RVing has purchased a package of 133 30-second spots on NBC (and its cable affiliates: CNBC, MSNBC and USA) for the Beijing Summer Olympic Games, August 8-24.

Not sure if GoRVing will be on the national level or just local affiliates but it is awesome that they have the money and creative to get on board for three major events in 08. With the writers strike, there will sure to be competition between ad space, so its great that you don't have to worry about that issue.
